4th of July

The first day without any rain in about 2 weeks. And what a great day for it to fall on. We took advantage of the nicer weather (it was still super hot and suffocatingly humid) and went to Centennial Park to kick the soccer ball around and take a little walk around the lake.
In the afternoon, my parents and brother came over for a BBQ. Since we had to get up for work the next morning, it was a short evening. We didn't go to see any fireworks either. Luc was in bed at 8pm and luckily all the locals shooting off their crackers and fireworks never woke Luc up from his sleep. Whew.
Maybe next year we can keep Luc up a little later and go see some sparklers in the sky.

Luc playin with his toy mower we saved out of someone's trash. -Don't judge.

Me & Luc-Luc
My Family
The Hairson Family
I'm grateful for every person who has served and fought for this country. They have secured our home, our freedoms, and our rights as people of all races and backgrounds. Without their dedication and loyalty I would not have my family in any shape or form. My great grandparents wouldn't have immigrated to New York, and without the pursuit of happiness and a glimmer of hope for a better life, I would not have met Frederic and created my beautiful little family.
