We didn't do much this year on Love Day. We've all just gotten over having a horrible stomach virus 2 weeks ago (Luc taking the longest to get over it, Frederic and Aria escaping with the least impact). Aria is back to waking up in the middle of the night and/or won't go back down at around 4:30/5am. Frederic's new company that took over his previous company officially started and the first week was full with long days (and nights) at the office for him, leaving me to be a single Mommy.I was even too tired and unimpressed to pull out my Valentine's Day hand towels for the kitchen and bathroom, or the pillows for the couch.
Valentine's Day ended up like any other day. We ended up going to dinner at Bonne Maman and Bon Papa's house. Saturday night, Frederic and I did ordered carry out from Carrabba's and ate after the kids were in bed.

At school, Luc made some Valentine's Day things. All the kids exchanged Valentine's cards and placed them in each others mail truck made of construction paper. They learned about the mail delivery system and sent a card they made in class via snail mail to Mommy and Daddy.
Luc also made me this beautiful bouquet. The flowers are made from an egg carton. One of the best bouquets I've ever received.
