Halloween was lots of fun this year!
Earlier in the day, Luc helped Daddy and Mommy put up some Halloween decorations outside- spider webbing on the plants, ghosts in the tree, and the scary witch on the outside light.
We didn't get to hand out any candy to treaters since we wanted to be out early, and just left the bowl outside when we got home because we forgot to do it before we left. It was quickly emptied by the late-night teenagers.
Luc insisted that I dress up as a cat, and Daddy dressed up as a soccer player. As opposed to last year when we tried to mimic zinc on Luc's nose for his life guard costume, he was a lot more cooperative with the face painting this year and didn't touch any of it the whole night.

| Luc trying to get Aria's blood. |
Luc was dressed as a vampire this year and we even got him to say: "I want to suck your blood. Hahaha!" People got a real kick out of that. With the first few houses, people would let him choose which candy he wanted from the bowl and then one adult told him to pick one for his sister. After that, with each house he would either wait for a second piece or grab more than one and say it's for my baby sister and put it in Aria's pumpkin bucket. After a few adults seemed annoyed with this, we told Luc to grab one for himself only. When he did get two pieces from someone, he kindly would put one piece in Aria's bowl.
Aria was a ballerina. The Princess idea didn't work this year. She wouldn't keep the crown headband on her head for one second. One dress I wanted her to wear was too small and the other was too big. Maybe next year. She seemed very fascinated by the trick or treating. Toward the end of the night she was getting quite heavy so Daddy put her on his shoulders. She was up there babbling and OooOoo-ing as Luc collected candy.
When we got home, we looked through the loot, and Aria would try to eat the candy through the wrapper. When you took it away from her, she got very angry and cried. She was in a pleasant mood the whole evening until we got home and she was no longer distracted and remembered she was hungry and wanted to go to bed.
